'Red Dead Redemption 2' Arthur Actor Would Happily Return As Character

Hehehehe boah.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most well-performed and intricate narrative stories to come out during this last generation of games. A struggling gang does all they can to survive in the last days of the old West, sometimes too much, and Arthur Morgan with the best of intentions tries to protect his family. If you know the story then you know that with that comes challenges of its own.

However, according to GameRant, the voice actor for Arthur Morgan would happily reprise the role if ever asked. When questioned if he would make a reappearance, voice actor Roger Clark says, "Sure! The creatives at Rockstar Games are my friends and colleagues. What's more, they are my favourite video game studio."

That's high praise indeed. But although we would love to see Arthur Morgan back in the saddle of a game, is it even possible? Without too many spoilers for those who haven't finished Red Dead Redemption 2, it's implied that Arthur isn't in a good way by the end of the game. Both physically and mentally exhausted he doesn't seem like he'd be able to have another wild west adventure.

But wait, Rockstar has already set up a non-linear game situation, hasn't it? So far the Red Dead Redemption games have been playing out in reverse. The first RDR game happens years after RDR2 and there is a prequel story in 2 about John Marston too.

Sounds likely that the only way we would see Arthur Morgan again is if we went back further. To when he was a younger man, still doing his best to help Dutch and the gang. We feel it's more likely that if there ever was another Red Dead Redemption game, that it would go back further again and follow Dutch's journey or maybe even follow a member of the O'Driscoll gang.

In any case, we'd enjoy hearing the dulcet tones of Morgan's (and Clark's) voice again in that world. At least now we know Clark would love to come back if an opportunity arose.
