'Skyrim' Giants Are Now Five Times Bigger Thanks To Modders, And Oh God

Everyone remembers their first giant right? If yours was the BFG, congratulations, that's a pretty fun giant experience to have, very wholesome and lovely in every way. However, if your was the giants from Skyrim, you probably remember the moment you got absolutely destroyed by them. I can see it now, the shock, the horror as my poor little Dovakin got thwacked with a giant's club before she ragdolled through the sky, helpless. A truly harrowing experience.

So if you remember that too, you might want to run an hide as a modder has made the giants in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim bloomin' massive. Run, run for your lives as these already pretty large lads become even bigger with just a few tweaks to the code of the game.

The Gamer spotted a Reddit post by user NymnWales where they were inspired by popular anime Attack on Titan to make the giants in Skyrim massive and they're truly terrifying. Although they're not the same fleshy version of massive humanoids that feature in Attack on Titan the stature of these beasts and the fact that they look like they're going to murder you sooner rather than later feels pretty similar to the show.

So how did they do it? Well character models in Skyrim can be pretty easily edited if you know how (and are okay risking breaking the game that is). In the Skyrim console on a PC (sorry console lovers, mods aren't really your thing) you can alter many assets of the game easily including increasing the scale size of NPC models. Just amp the size of the giant's by five times and voila, you have a titan.

So there is just one question after seeing a monstrosity like this - QuillPen14 on Reddit asks, just "how long before all of Skyrim is launched into the upper stratosphere" with the creation of this monster? Who can say! But we're out of here, we don't want to be on the receiving end of that club to find out.
