We've had some fantastic live-action Spider-Men over the years. Whatever your thoughts on their respective movies, there's no denying that Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland have all brought their own special touches to the character.

Maguire provided his Peter Parker with a relatable vulnerability, Garfield added a cocksure swagger, and Holland? Well, he's the first actor in the role that can actually pass for a 16-year-old kid, so that's a win. Still, this never stops fans from coming up with their own ideas of who they think could play Spider-Man on the big screen one day.

Before we move on, take a look at some of the best Spider-Man games below!

With Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse having established the idea of multiple Spider-Men running around in a vast multiverse of webheads, fans are keener than ever to see their own ideal casting ideas make it to a live-action film. With all the rumours we're currently hearing in regards to Spider-Man: No Way Home, one or two surprises could certainly make it into the upcoming movie.

Personally, I'd love to finally see Donald Glover as Spider-Man after the fan campaign to get him cast in the role all those years ago. Jake Johnson - who voiced Spidey in Into The Spider-Verse - would also be awesome to see in live-action. But there's on actor I'd never considered until now: Andy Samberg.

I'm a big fan of the Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Lonely Island star, but it'd never occuured to me to consider him as Spider-Man. That is until Instagram venomhology shared an incredible piece of concept art revealing Samberg as an older Spidey. Now I can't stop thinking about it.

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in cinemas December 17. Will Andy Samberg make an appearance? We doubt it very much, but it's looking more and more likely that Maguire and Garfield will be joining Holland for a Spidery reunion. Watch this space.
