Giving away free games is all the rage right now. PlayStation recently announced it'll be giving away ten free titles as part of its ongoing Play At Home initiative, including the excellent Horizon Zero Dawn. Not to be outdone, Square Enix is getting in the action and offering fans two free Tomb Raider games.
Okay, so that's not quite as impressive as ten games from a purely objective mathematical standpoint, but still... free stuff. Ahead of the Square Enix Presents stream later today, the publisher is giving away Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.

Both titles are essentially bite-sized Tomb Raider experiences, but they manage to distill everything that makes the series great into one seriously attractive package. You'll solve puzzles, you'll shoot stuff, you'll explore tombs - it's all there. To be honest, these games feel more like classic Tomb Raider than the reboot trilogy. Old-school fans definitely won't want to miss out on these gems if they haven't already played them.
Assuming I've just sold you on these games, I expect you'll be wanting to know how exactly you go about claiming them. Easy! All you need to do is interact with the below tweet from Square Enix before the promotion ends, which will be around 5:40pm (UK time). Follow the instructions, and Square Enix will slide into your DMs with a code for both games. Lemon squeezy.
