Final Fantasy has come a long way in the last few decades. While our favourite heroes were once little messes of pixels and polygons, advancements in technology have led to some serious glow-ups. Final Fantasy protagonists these days rock perfect skin, incredible hair, and facial features you could cut yourself on. There's no such thing as an unattractive hero in these games, is what I'm trying to say.
That's why I find myself oddly jealous of Jordan from Michigan. A former barista at Starbucks, the talented cosplayer recently found himself blowing up online when an old photo of him at work back in 2016 resurfaced. The image, originally from Starbucks Partners, was subsequently brought back into the light by Twitter user @hurricaneutah, who noted that Jordan - who is clearly a handsome fella - kind of/totally looks like a Devil May Cry or Final Fantasy character.
It's hard to disagree, right? Even if you didn't look at this picture and immediately come to the conclusion that Jordan looks like he could be in the background of Final Fantasy VII Remake, once it's been pointed out, you really can't unsee it. Others quickly found that Jordan has a very real talent for cosplay that he shares on Instagram, though it's unclear if he was intentionally dressed as a video game NPC when he went into work that day. Probably not... although he has gone to work in cosplay before, so I can't actually say for sure.

Like everyone else, Jordan has been forced to put most of his hobbies on hold as a result of the continued joys 2020 brings, which of course means he hasn't been able to rock a cosplay for a while. Hopefully all this extra time in lockdown just means that when he does get back to it, it'll be with something truly special.
