The Division 2 - Ubisoft's inherently apolitical sequel to 2016's equally apolitical game* - will soon allow players the chance to fight their way through the Pentagon in Title Update Six, which officially kicks off Episode 2 of the 2019 multiplayer loot shooter.

The latest update releases on October 15 for Year One pass holders, while the rest of your filthy peasants will be able to access it from October 22. According to Ubisoft, the new update adds Episode 2 - Pentagon: The Last Castle, as well as a brand new Conflict PvP mode and a new Technician Specialist.

*If I'm being honest guys, I don't fully buy that either of The Division games are apolitical... but Ubisoft said they were, so I guess it must be true.

The new Technician Specialization introduces a new Signature Weapon in the form of a missile launcher that can lock onto serveal targets at once. The Specialization also comes with a Maxim 9 sidearm, EMP grenades, and the Artificer Hive skill variant which offers a boost to other abilities.

If you've got the Year One pass, you'll instantly have access to Technician, while the rest of you crusty scum will just have to unlock the old-fashioned way and complete a series of objectives. Good thing those Year One pass holders managed to save themselves the trouble of having to... play the game to unlock something. Really spared themselves there, didn't they?

Sarcasm aside, Year One pass owners will actually get two new Classified Assignments in the update, which are essentially smaller missions that offer a different kind of challenge. These Assignments will see players attempting to seize weapons from an arms deal, and an Embassy mission in which they'll need to extract a pilot from his downed helicopter and get him out in one piece.

In terms of story content, Pentagon: The Last Castle will offer two new main missions to sink your teeth into/fire bullets at. The first takes players right into the Pentagon where they'll have to fight against the villainous Black Tusk and make their way through an underground research facility.

The second missions sends players to a DARPA research lab, where they'll one again have to fight against those persistent Black Tusk agents, fighting through a research lab in an effort to obtain a biorecator and sneak it out of the lab.
