Spoilers for this week's episode of Loki to follow - don't read on if you haven't seen it yet!
This week's Loki sure was a humdinger of an episode, huh? It really did have it all. Loki-on-Loki action. Giant cloud monsters. More Marvel Easter eggs than I could reasonably spot in one viewing. Just a masterful hour of television, really. But the real star of the show, of course, was Alligator Loki.
The penultimate episode of the Disney Plus series saw "our" Loki hastily team up with a handful of fun variants. There was boastful Loki, who may or not have killed Iron Man and Captain America. Young Loki definitely killed his brother Thor given the chilly silence that followed this admission. Richard E. Grant's old Loki very nearly stole the show simply by being Richard E. Grant playing Loki, but it was the reptilian variant that really captured hearts and minds.
Alligator Loki is apparently incapable of speech, but there wasn't a single cut to the lizard wizard (who ate the wrong neighbour's cat, apparently) that didn't result in a laugh from me. Who would have thought all the way back in 2008 that Iron Man would lead to... this? Not me.

To the surprise of nobody, Alligator Loki is going down a treat on social media. He even got his own lil emoji on Twiiter!

Let's hope Disney and Marvel see sense and give the people the Alligator Loki spinoff they want and deserve.
