The Rock Has Been Introduced To His Doppelganger, And He's Impressed

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is one of the most recognisable faces in Hollywood. Not only is he incredibly famous and successful but he's huge and has a picture-perfect smile on his always freshly shaven head making him pretty identifiable. However people around the world have been recently obsessing over a photo of an American police officer who looks could be The Rock's twin, and now the actor himself has reacted to the Lieutenant.

News outlets everywhere and even viral TikToks pointed out the resemblance between Morgan County Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields and The Rock. One picture in particular which appeared on the police department's Facebook page showed a stunning resemblance between the actor and the cop, leading many to believe that it was actually Johnson in the photo.

Now The Rock has finally responded in a tweet spotted by Comicbook.com. He says: "Oh sh*t! Wow. Guy on the left [Eric Fields] is way cooler. Stay safe brother and thank you for your service. One day we'll drink Teremana and I need to hear all your "Rock stories" because I KNOW you got 'em." Getting that tequila promo in there, eh Johnson? I respect the hussle.

Rather hilariously, Eric seems to be getting more comments and photos with the public than ever since the picture of him blew up on the internet. Morgan County Sheriff's Office tweeted another image of him being stopped for photos recently, so perhaps he has a career in The Rock impersonations if he wants it. And we're sure that The Rock could use a stand in from time to time with interviews or events he's too busy to do. Think about it, Fields, think about it.

Now we just need to get The Rock, Eric Fields, and the young Rock actor together to have the complete set.
