This probably won't come as much of a surprise to those of you who have been paying attention. At the start of this year CD Projekt informed investors that from 2022, the company's development teams would be upscaled and split in two focus on two AAA titles simultaneously.
Take a look at The Witcher 3's Skellige region as you've never seen it before below:
Which brings us to aforementioned job listing. The advert is for a Camera Programmer "with experience in developing real-time third person perspective cameras". There's not much in there to specifically suggest The Witcher 4, but the perspective is pretty telling.
Given the fact CD Projekt's two big franchise are The Witcher and Cyberpunk, and only one of those is third-person, fans have speculated the ad is indeed for The Witcher 4, or whatever the new Witcher game ends up being called. This is far from the only possible explanation of course. The job ad could be for a third-person Cyberpunk 2077 update, or simply for a number of third-person cutscenes as part of the sci-fi RPG's upcoming DLC.
With that said, the most likely scenario still seems to be that the listing is in reference to a new entry in The Witcher franchise. It's unlikely we'll learn anything official about Geralt and/or Ciri's next adventure at this early stage, so just sit tight for now.
