'The Witcher' Season 2 Gives Geralt A New Look, And The Internet Loves It

Henry Cavill, star of Netflix's The Witcher and perpetual internet thirst-trap has done it again. The streaming service just revealed a first look at Cavill as Geralt in the upcoming second season of the live-action fantasy show, and it wasn't long before Twitter collapsed in on itself like a dying star. A very horny dying star.

As you can see, Geralt looks to have seriously upgraded his armour in between seasons. I'm assuming he went off and did some side quests, maybe took on a few contracts and tracked down a master blacksmith, because the gear he's rocking is seriously next level.

Of course for many of us, it's what's inside that counts. And when I say inside, I mean underneath the armour.

Clearly there's not much Cavill can do without sending the internet into a frenzy. Whether it's wearing a badass suit of armour, painting Warhammer, or building a gaming PC from scratch, there are those of us determined to watch his every move. Is it getting a little creepy? I can't help but think maybe, yeah.

If you'd like to see more of Henry Cavill, his new armour, and his killer jawline, you'll want to tune into season two of The Witcher when it debuts... eventually.

Thanks to COVID the show only recently resumed production, so we're not entirely sure when the new episodes will air. The first half of 2021 is the most likely scenario, assuming things don't get worse again before then. At least if they do we'll have these new photos of Cavill to keep us company, right?
