Fan-Made Pokémon Game Is So Good We Wish It Was Real

Fans of games come in all shapes and sizes. You have those who casually enjoy a game, those who replay and complete them, and then on another level altogether, you have those who create their own interpretation of a franchise they love. And one such fan has released footage of a fake Pokémon game that we would love to play.

Pokémon Adventures Sinnoh, as the creator Millenniumloops calls it, isn't a real Pokémon game though we wish it was. Footage of the fan project shows an open-world interpretation of the Sinnoh region where players would catch, train, and travel with a roster of pocket monsters. And frankly, it looks excellent.

You can see the footage of the fan project below and see how beautiful it looks for yourself...

This concept for the game would allow you to use your Pokémon in more creative ways, like climbing cliffs and diving underwater. Customisation options also look like they'd be off the charts, allowing players to alter the look of their Poké Balls as well as giving Pokémon costumes to wear on your adventure.

And of course, how could we forget to mention the intense Pokémon battles that you'd see as you played. Gym battles are standard but then Millenniumloops takes it to another level with battles taking place in mysterious space realms. It looks incredible and it's obvious there is so much creativity present in the trailer. It's just a shame the game doesn't exist!

You can find the full trailer on Millenniumloops YouTube channel, so go show it some love! I would hope The Pokémon Company and Nintendo take some notes on how fans have reacted so positively to this fan-made trailer. Maybe when Pokémon Legends: Arceus lands on Switch we'll be pleasantly surprised at how the developers handle a 3D open-world.
