You have to laugh at yourself sometimes.

Popular Twitch streamer and Minecraft speedrunner 'Feinberg' has claimed he was banned from the platform for creating an alternate account that made fun of... himself.

As reported by Dexerto, the streamer revealed on Twitter earlier this week that Twitch had hit him with a permanent ban after he had created an account called "Feinbergsucks" - a dig at his actual name. It's likely Twitch had no idea it was Feinberg who had created the account, and took action assuming that it was targeted harassment. To be fair to Twitch, why would they assume Feinberg was behind the account Feinbersucks?

Take a look at some of the funniest Twitch wins and fails below:

"Hi Twitch Support, my alternate Twitch account 'Feinbergsucks' was perma suspended yesterday for an inappropriate name," Feinberg wrote on June 23. "Am I not allowed to poke fun at myself? I can't stream or use Twitch on my main in fear of TOS and I don't believe the suspension is warranted, please help me out."

The following day the streamer tagged Twitch once again, but to no avail. At the time of writing, Feinberg still doesn't seem to have had any luck in getting his alternate account unbanned, despite the fact he appears to have provided proof that he was the one behind Feinbersucks. Fortunately he is still able to stream from his main account

This isn't the first time Twitch has banned a streamer's alternate account after mistaking a username targeted harassment. Earlier this year George "GeorgeNotFound'' Davidson was banned for "harassment via username," as a result of his secondary account: "ThisIsNotGeorgeNotFound". Davidson's alternate account was ultimately unbanned, which hopefully means Feinberg will have similar success if he ever manages to get the attention of Twitch. Here's hoping.
