It turns out there's a growing interest on Twitch for gambling-related content. I can't say that this was something I was fully aware of, but I can sort of see how there are people out there who would enjoy tuning into streams in which people win - and often lose - their money.

Twitch streamer and content creator Cody 'Xposed' Burnett recently lost a substantial amount of money during one such stream. While playing games on Roobet - a kind of online cryptocurrency casino - Burnett managed to lose an eye-watering $7,000. His keyboard was left to pay the tragic price as he smashed it to pieces in fury.

As reported by Dexerto, Burnett used to be an FPS-focused channel known and loved by fans for "angry" outbursts on during livestreams. Burnett has since shifted his content to the fascinating yet murky world of online gambling, where it seems his ability to anger has given him great success among viewers.

On February 12, Burnett took a chance by putting down his entire balance of over $7,000 on Mines, a kind of Minesweeper-style game, except instead of just wasting time you waste time and money.

"Okay, just three mines bro," the streamer said to his chat, during the climatic moments of the broadcast. "Three mines never hurt anybody. We just do two mines and we're out."

Despite the fact that Burnett was confident the game would be a sure way to win big, fortune was not smiling on him. After clearing one block, Burnett stumbled upon a mine - he lost the wager, and his entire balance went with it.

"There's no f**king way!" the streamer screamed, before picking up a keyboard from the floor and smashing it apart. "F**king how, bro?!"

After coming back to his setup, Burnett seemed a little calmer, and explained it was just the way these things went sometimes. But that's the nature of gambling, right? Everybody loses eventually.
