Popular Twitch streamer Felix 'xQc' Lengyel has spoken in more depth about why he was forced to move house earlier this year.

Last month Lengyel explained that he was left with no other option than to change address after a number "swattings" directed to his home left him fearing for his life.

For those who don't know, swattings are seriously ill-advised "pranks" that involve sending armed law enforcement to a person's home under false pretenses. People have a died as a result of these in the past, and when Lengyel's address was shared online, he found himself the victim of multiple raids and had to move. Unfortunately, it seems Lengyel's experience was even darker than he originally stated.

Take a look at some of the best - and worst - of Twitch below.

Last night, Lengyel made his return to Twitch from his new location following a brief hiatus as a result of the move. During the stream, he spoke about some of the awful things he had to deal with as a result of having his address shared online. In addition to almost daily swattings, he claims a man armed with a crowbar broke into his home at one point looking for him.

Fortunately at this point, Lengyel had briefly moved into fellow streamer Sodapoppin's place to get away from the swatting. But it was at this point he realised living with other people could well put them in danger.

"The swatting was happening a lot and then some person went to my old house and broke into it with a crowbar," Lengyel explained. "And apparently he was looking for me! So, at that point it was like holy f**k, that's pretty crazy. "Weird sh*t started happening at Soda's house too. I felt like it was unfair for everybody around me that I'm putting them in danger."

Later on during the stream, Lengyel spoke a little more about the armed intruder's motives.

"He was asking for me or some sh*t," he explained. "He was yelling that I owned something of his or whatever. I looked at all my DMs and there was nothing, so I don't really understand it. He kinda just came out of nowhere."

Here's hoping it won't be long before Lengyel is able to settle somewhere with a modicum of privacy and safety. Nobody should have to feel scared in their own home.
