Woody Harrelson has apparently been caught in a fight in Washington DC after someone at the bar he was also at took photos of him without his permission. The actor was on a hotel rooftop when an argument led him to throwing a "defensive" punch at a man who became physically aggressive.

As reported by Insider (via Comicbook) the actor was caught in a fight after a man was taking photos of him and his daughter without consent. Apparently an arguement ensued which eventually turned to violence. The other man in the fight reportedly attempted to grab Harrelson by the throat at which point the actor threw a punch to force the man away.

Here is the trailer for Venom Let There Be Carnage...

The "intoxicated" man had been taking photos of Harrelson and his daughter, and when the actor requested that he stop and delete the ones he had already taken, the fight broke out.

The police were called and arrived at the hotel at around 11pm. According to the report, Harrelson has not been charged with anything at the moment.

Harrelson's in nerdy news at the moment because of the release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, where he plays the serial killer Cletus Kasady. Much like the titular Venom and Eddie Brock, Kasady hosts a symbiote called Carnage. He's of course playing the character alongside Tom Hardy's Venom and they will be joined by Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison / Shriek, and Reid Scott as Dan Lewis.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is set to release on October 15, 2021. Unfortunately there have already been spoilers for the film across the internet. The post-credits scene is already blowing fans' minds so we're excited to see the finished results ourselves.
