War Child UK and Children in Conflict are back once again to encourage "peaceful gameplay" during November as part of their annual charity gaming fundraiser, Armistice 2019. Over the next few weeks, expect to see a number of special love-streaming events and a Steam Sale dedicated to discounting a variety of non-violent games, all designed to raise money for kids affected by conflict.

A huge number of "peace-promoting titles" will be discounted across mobile and Steam. Particpating companies include Inkle, Snap Finger Click, Brain&Brain!, Dinosaur Polo Club, Oddworld Inhabitants, Bedtime Digital Games, and Revolution Software.

Until November 13, you can check out the Armistice 2019 sale on Steam. It it, you'll be be able to net yourself a selection of non-violent titles at discount prices, including Space Engineers, Feather, AER Memories of Old, Mini Metro, Samorost 3, and more. A percentage of all proceeds from the Steam sale will go towards helping and supporting children in conflict.

The Outside Xbox team will also host a special War Child Armistice four-hour Livestream on November 12, with guests including comedians Steve McNeil, Bec Hill, and Jake Lambert. Popular content creators including Hannah Rutherford and Stuart Ashens will also be appearing to play through a selection of non-violent games. The stream kicks off at 4pm GMT.

Finally, War Child UK has partnered with a number of companies, including Failbetter Games, I Got Games, Digital Legends and Game Insight to create exclusive in-game content to raise further funds. Failbetter has launched a free update to the critically-Sunless Skies, which introduces a new character to the horror RPG in the form of the Sky-Worn Urchin.

"Orphaned by the Winchester War, the Urchin now stows away on locomotives, intending to see every corner of the sky," War Child writes. "Sunless Skies and Failbetter's previous title Sunless Sea will both be available at a discount on Steam during Armistice 2019."
