Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone players have gotten their first look at John McClane and Rambo in the '80s Action Heroes event which goes live today.

Season Three has started with a bang with this limited-time event. As Operators, Rambo and McClane come with their own equipment - Rambo has two Finishing Moves, three Legendary Weapon Blueprints (these are an assault rifle, an LMG and a Knife Blueprint), a Legendary Calling Card and Emblem, an Epic Watch and an Epic Charm. On the other hand, McClane offers players a Finishing Move, three Legendary Weapon Blueprints (one tactical rifle, one SMG, and one assault rifle) a Legendary Calling Card and Emblem, an Epic Watch and an Epic Charm. "We worked super closely with Studio Canal and Disney to make sure that these characters were brought to life with all their vivid detail and authenticity that fans would expect for those particular IP but also for Call of Duty," said Chris Plummer, vice president of Call Of Duty Mobile, in an interview with GameSpot.

The written word doesn't do the experience of seeing these characters in the world of Call Of Duty, so check out the chaos in the latest trailer below.

At the moment, both of the Operators are "coming soon" to the games, so we can't tell how much moolah they'll cost. However, judging by the fact that the bundles for Rambo and McClane have roughly the same number of unlockables as that of the Soap, Sparks and Roze bundles from Season One, an educated guess puts the price at 2,400 COD Points. That's £16.79 to you and I.

The '80s Action Heroes event doesn't only consist of the two characters arriving in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. The Nakatomi Plaza has relocated to Downtown in Verdansk, offering players the opportunity to scale five floors of the building, which is music to the ears of Die Hard aficionados. Nakatomi Plaza also possesses multiple optional missions that garner rewards in-game and for players' profiles. There's even a possibility that a squad could unlock the vault that houses unimaginable riches, though they'll need to fight tooth and nail for their claim.

Furthermore, there are Survival Camps that riff off Rambo: First Blood Part II. These hold some enticing items, and the CIA Outpost appears to have the capability to call in air reinforcements. And, there's the new mode Power Grab, which shrinks the starting circle and gets rid of the Gulag so the stakes are sky-high. In collecting fallen players' dog tags, you'll be able to bring back your squadmates and these items generate rewards like a UAV, a Respawn Token, Advanced Gas Masks and Specialist Bonuses.
