They’ve hit the nail on the head there.

Right now, the Call Of Duty: Warzone community are up in arms over one of the newest weapons in the game added as part of Season 4. No, it's not the MG 82 LMG. Yes, it's another one.

The nail gun is unlockable in either Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War or Warzone through getting five kills with either the M79, R1 Shadowhunter, or Ballistic Knife across 15 matches. Or, in Zombies, Zombies, you need to bag 25 kills with Special Weapons in 12 different completed regions. Alternatively, you can shell out for the blueprint in the in-game shop for 1,000 CP. Now, watch this clip of Curtis "FaZe Dirty" Henke eviscerating the competition with the nail gun to work out what the commotion is about. The entire encounter spans less than a minute, and while he is a professional Call of Duty player, the efficiency with which he eliminates the others with the nail gun is something to behold. It doesn't even allow for attachments.

"It's just ridiculous to bring a nail gun into a "warzone" and have it somehow be the most powerful weapon," said Reddit user YUNGSLAG. "Please take the nail gun out of Warzone or nerf it. It's unplayable. It requires very little skill to be very effective. It's such a buzz kill when trying to play," added Smuethy on Twitter.

Of course, there are some who are over the moon with the power of the nail gun, but it looks like the majority of players are through with the immense popularity of the nail gun and want a balanced experience. Raven Software was quick to address the issues with the MG 82 yet as this is its current priority we might not see a response to the "overpowered" nail gun for some time.

My solution? I'm glad you asked. Take all of the guns in the game out. Replace them with inflatable mallet toys. This will solve two issues. The first is that there will be no overpowered guns to complain about. The second is that it will make the game a lot more enjoyable because bonking someone on the head with one of these mallets is pure, undistilled satisfaction. They can't even tell on you to your mum because it's a squishy colourful toy and claiming that it hurts is making a mountain out of a molehill. Activision, let me know what you think.
