You probably won't be too surprised to learn that the hugely successful actor Henry Cavill gets paid an awful lot of money by Netflix to play Geralt Of Rivia in The Witcher. But have you ever wondered exactly how much?

If you're the kind of person who actually cares about exactly how rich rich people are, I will never understand you and I'm not sure I like you. But that's irrelevant today, because here I am having to telling you exactly how much stars like Henry Cavill and Pedro Pascal are making for their roles in The Witcher and The Last Of Us.

Take a look at the latest teaser for The Witcher's upcoming second season below!

Variety recently published a report that details just what many of Hollywood's best and brightest are currently earning, but its Cavill and Pascal who we're looking at today due to their connection to the world of video games.

According to the report, Pascal is bringing home an impressive $600,000 per episode to appear in HBO's live-action adaptation of The Last Of Us. With ten episodes planned for the first season, he's looking at at least $6 million in total. This is before tax and agency fees and such mind you, but it's still not to be sniffed at. Hell, I'd probably lick a stranger's feet for a tenth of that.

Meanwhile, Cavill makes $400,000 per episode on The Witcher. It's unclear whether or not he made the same amount on the first season, but he'll earn a little over $3 million for the upcoming eight-episode season two alone. Again, before tax and other deductions. That should be more than enough to keep Cavill's Warhammer hobby flowing. Although lord knows Warhammer is expensive enough these days that starring in a hit Netflix show is one of the only feasible ways to regularly buy new models.
