PlayStation Fans Still Can't Accept 'Starfield' Isn't Coming To PS5

PlayStation players, you just have to accept it - Starfield really isn't coming to Sony's consoles following the acquisition of Bethesda by Microsoft. We know, it's a little annoying since you may have been looking forward to the game, but the devs have reiterated, it really truly is not coming to other platforms.

As Overclock3d spotted, general manager of Xbox Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg has once again had to state that Starfield on PlayStation is a no-go. But it just seems that Sony fans are in denial because there are many instances of these gamers telling one another that it will make it to their console of choice with absolutely no indication from Xbox of that ever happening.

Here is the trailer for Starfield...

Greenberg responded to a tweet saying that "other platforms" will get the game as soon as a timed exclusivity period is up. The GM originally states: "Starfield will be launching exclusively on Xbox Series X'S and PC on November 11, 2022. Game Pass members can play it day one as well on Xbox & PC. I know we have said this all before and none of that has or will change." And suddenly a fan takes that to mean the game will also head elsewhere.

Aaron, with the patience of a saint, responds once again in this thread to deny that that was what it meant saying: "We have tried to be as clear as possible, not a timed exclusive, this is simply where the game is being made."

So once again, the answer seems to be no, Starfield isn't going anywhere other than Xbox and PC. And yeah, for some people that really sucks, but you have to remember that every platform has its advantages and that's good - it leads game companies to keep pushing each other to higher heights. Perhaps Sony will be looking for their own space adventure soon, especially with a showcase on the way.
