It was the meme that swept the internet. The Xbox Series X got compared endlessly to a fridge with its blocky exterior, and it seems that Microsoft has kind of agreed with the resemblance. It has joked about making its own fridge since release and with the Xbox & Bethesda showcase, the company has pulled through. The last minute of the presentation was dedicated to the genuine Xbox mini fridge.
I can't really believe that we've come to this point but I'm absolutely delighted to say that there is a trailer for the Xbox mini fridge and guess what the tagline is... "Xbox and chill". Microsoft has fully leaned into a meme and we couldn't be happier for them.

Though there aren't really any specs to speak of (I mean it's just a mini fridge, what do you want from them), the trailer makes the equipment look pretty damn good. It's not 100% a replica but it has all the basic components of the Xbox Series X like the hole detailing on the top and the Xbox logo. The internal colour of the fridge is, of course, the Xbox green and it seems that you can store all sorts of gaming refreshments in there for your late night sessions.

So how about a release date? Well, it looks like we're going to be seeing the Xbox Mini Fridge hit shelves Q4 of this year. There is no solid release date yet but the trailer for the product just says "Holiday 2021" - it'll be a great Christmas gift for Xbox gamers.
If you were looking for gaming news though, the E3 Xbox and Bethesda showcase gave us a lot to look forward to from Starfield to a new incredible looking zombie shooter Redfall, the presentation was full of call announcements and gameplay.
