GTA Players Want xQc Banned For Sexist Joke Aimed At Female Streamer

Popular streamer Felix 'xQc' Lengyel is facing serious backlash from fans after making a number of inappropriate jokes towards a female Twitch star.

Lengyel has responded to claims that he's misogynistic as a result of several "stripper" comments made at the expense of fellow streamer Wolfabelle, who was roleplaying as a police officer on the GTA Online NoPixel server at the time.

Lengyel is no stranger to controversy when it comes to GTA RP, and has often drawn criticism for taking things too far when he gets into character. He's been banned a number of times before already, and as previously described GTA RP as "the most miserable experience in gaming".

As reported by Dexerto, the GTA RP community is far from happy with Lengyel for the poorly judged jokes aimed at Wolfabelle. Lengyel's GTA RP character, Jean Paul, was locked in jail and engaged in an argument with Wolfabelle's cop character and her partner. Lengyel had run over Wolfabelle and was attempting to talk his way out of legal action when he called her a "bimbo" and accused her of not knowing how to play the game.

"You're a bimbo!" he shouted "Oh my god, you actually are. You're a bimbo. Really, you're so brain dead. Why don't you go to VU [the in-game strip club] and do what you do best?"

While it seems Lengyel was "in character" for most of this exchange, many believe he definitely took it too far.

"Telling a woman to go work at the Stripclub, hard incel shit," wrote one user on the RP subreddit. "Sexism has no place here," added another.

Lengyel has since responded to the backlash by insisting that it's "double standards" and that insulting a woman isn't necessarily always misogyny, which is... a take.

"People are calling me an incel unironically, after I said she should get a job at VU, a GTA strip club, saying that I should get banned by saying that," he said. "They're saying, 'Oh my god, misogyny!' I'm just confused. I feel bad, but also why can't you insult a woman without it being misogynistic?

"I don't understand. You insult somebody, it should be even across the field. Now, because it's a woman, it's something else? This doesn't make any sense. Jokes are for everyone, and I think that this is just double standards."

Amazingly, Lengyel's defence doesn't seem to have won over anyone, with critics pointing out that his rant was aimed squarely at Wolfabelle and not her male partner. At the time of writing no action has been taken against Lengyel.
