It seems that Félix 'xQc' Lengyel has been permanently banned from the popular Grand Theft Auto role-playing server, NoPixel. The content creator has been previously banned from the server over other offences - but this time it looks like his character information has been deleted and he will not be returning to the game, at all.

xQc is one of the biggest Twitch streamers out there, and has recently been sinking a lot of hours into GTA RP server NoPixel. It's a place where gamers take on personas and live out their lives as cops, criminals, and really anything else they like. But it looks like he's gone for good now, after four shorter-term bans.

Here are some of our favourite livestreaming moments for you to enjoy...

The reason for the new ban is unclear, but it's believed that during his time on the server xQc stepped on many toes, inducing those of the server admins. It also didn't help that the whole illusion of role-playing was broken when it came to players targeting him, as he's a large streamer. With the real and virtual worlds colliding like that, it made indulging fully in the fantasy hard for some players.

xQc confirmed the ban at the beginning of his latest stream, and seemed resigned to the fact that he was out of the server for good. He spoke about how it felt like it was "unhealthy" that gamers would be trying "catch the big bad wolf" when he was playing. He says that it "felt like I was already banned ahead of time," and from his reaction it doesn't seem like it was a surprise.

It was just one of his characters that was responsible for most of the mess xQc got in. X, or Jean Paul, got into a lot of trouble as xQc's criminal character, but the streamer also had Pierre Paul, a cop equivalent. Many are wondering if the streamer could be allowed to return to the server with X gone, and perhaps Pierre, or PP, could live on. xQc has even asked the admins about this possibility: "I told the admins that I'll take a perma [ban] on X if you let me play on PP or whatever until I learn to become better - but then they didn't reply."

Another huge streamer, Jaryd 'summit1g' Lazar, empathised with the ban, saying "you can only step on so many toes before something has to be said or done". The streamer continues: "I do hope he gets another shot in the future, I hope that he'll be able to figure it out - I think he should just focus on his cop character. Just leave the X character to chill out."

Fans are split between being delighted and being sad when it comes to this ban. Some are happy that the streamer will now be forced to step away from GTA RP content after going in on it hard these past months, while others are upset that something xQc enjoyed has been taken away. Other streamers like Adept expressed how annoying she thought it was that people in xQc's community were happy for the ban, saying that it's some "fake love", "parasocial" issues. It's possible we'll see xQc return to NoPixel in the future if the admins have a change of heart - but this doesn't seem likely, right now.
