That's a lot of slow-mo.

No, no, it's not just you - a lot of the Synder Cut is in slow-mo. The rerelease of the 2017 flop Justice League features a lot of new content, new scenes, and a huge, huge amount of slow-mo it turns out. Just how much slow-mo? Well, IGN's Simon Cardy and Matt Purslow have counted every second of slow-motion that the film has, and well, yes you're right, you're not mistaken - a huge amount of the feature film is slower than usual.

Without counting the moments in the film that the team couldn't work out if something was slowed down or not, and only using definitive slow-mo shots - the total footage that had been altered came out to 24 minutes and seven seconds. That's 1447 seconds in total if you were wondering. And in the context of the wider film, that's about 10% of the movie. A whole tenth of a four-hour film is slowed down which is wild, isn't it?

Well, it's certainly dramatic at the very least - anything in slow-mo looks just a little more badass or emotional, or important doesn't it? But maybe having 10% of your film that way could be seen as just a tad excessive. In any case, people seem to be enjoying Zack Synder's Justice League. The original impressions from critics were good and now it's out for anyone to see, fans have confirmed that yes - it's better than the original.

Sadly, after the messy production of not only Justice League but the other DC films that haven't stuck like Marvel's have, rumours of a sequel to Zack Snyder's Justice League have been cut short. And maybe that's for the best considering I'm not sure that I'd want to see Joker brutally murder Robin. Poor Bruce Wayne might not be able to take it.
