'God Of War Ragnarok' 4K 60FPS Mode For PS5 Reportedly Leaked By Retailer

As I write these words, the pre-orders for God of War Ragnarök have just gone live in the UK, and I can only imagine the carnage unfolding as fans wrestle to get their hands on the big, fancy Collector’s and Jötnar editions before they fly out of stock.

You can’t exactly blame people for the chaos - there are full-blown replicas of Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir at stake here. As well as a whole load of other goodies too, of course, but the hammer is quite easily the coolest thing on offer. Anyway, as reported by Novice Gamer Guides, it’s thanks to a promotional email about the pre-orders that we’ve seemingly had two different graphics modes for the PS5 version of the game unveiled early.

Admittedly, this isn’t super surprising news - we had the same options in Horizon Forbidden West, which released earlier this year. With that said, though, Sony hadn’t yet confirmed this themselves, so assuming that what ShopTo writes is true, it’s definitely good stuff to know. 

And let’s face it, the PS5 version definitely does need some extra spice to justify its cost. In case you missed it, the PS4 to PS5 upgrade cost has now been revealed - those with the new-gen console can expect to pay an extra $10 (or your currency equivalent) for the game, as the aforementioned Forbidden West was the last free upgradable title. All good things have to come to an end eventually, I suppose.
