Dr Dre Drops Tease Of New Song In 'GTA Online' Latest DLC

Dr Dre Drops Tease Of New Song In 'GTA Online' Latest DLC

Franklin will be tracking down Dr Dre's phone and ensuring the tracks don't fall into the wrong hands.

Grand Theft Auto Online is getting DLC that follows Franklin Clinton a few years after the events of Grand Theft Auto V, titled The Contract. Easily, the most exciting part of this is not that we're finally seeing Franklin again, it's that Dr Dre is starring in the expansion and is releasing songs, one of which has been previewed on the Internet today.

The story shows off Franklin's newest enterprise, a "celebrity solutions agency" that takes care of the messy issues that the elite might encounter, however the business needs help to get off the ground. His best friend Lamar Davis will be the partner who will promote and support the venture, whereas Dr Dre might be the renowned client that F. Clinton and Partner requires to put in on the radar of the rich and famous.

"Lost in the shuffle on his way to Cayo Perico last year, it turns out Dr. Dre’s phone isn’t just missing — it’s in the wrong hands. Not only that, but the phone also contains the hottest property in the city: new, unreleased music from Dr. Dre himself. This could be the big break your agency needs," read the description for the DLC, confirming a new radio station, "additional opportunities for agency work", new weapons, vehicles and more arriving with The Contract.

Here's some select wins and fails from Grand Theft Auto V and Online!

The Contract comes to all platforms on December 15th, but, Dr Dre has shown off a short snippet of one of the upcoming songs, titled The Goats featuring Eminem. As well as the real Slim Shady, Dr Dre has collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Anderson .Paak and DJ Pooh too for the brand new music that's on its way to the game.

Also, Anderson .Paak shared a clip of The Contract on his own Instagram showing himself and Dr Dre recording a song together in a studio in the game which has received a raucous response. Of course, all of this pales in importance when you see that Chop the Dog is coming back for The Contract. A little grizzled and silver about the jowls, but that's our boy.
