One GTA 6 trailer screenshot shows just how big the game's open world map is.

What an exciting week it is shaping up to be. Grand Theft Auto VI received its first trailer just a few days ago, plus the 10th annual Game Awards are being held later today which I’m sure will feature some tasty surprises.

Before we lose ourselves in The Game Awards hype though, we have a few more hours to continue our dissection of the GTA VI trailer. Fans are blown away by the trailer’s graphics, with developers confirming that it’s in-engine footage that’ll equal the final gameplay in quality. Unfortunately, it looks as if GTA VI will only launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S to begin with, with the PC version landing at a later date. There are so many hidden details to spot in the trailer which, luckily for you, we’ve been sifting through with a fine-tooth comb. Today though, I bring you a tidbit spotted by an eagle-eyed fan.

ICYMI: Take a look at GTA VI in action below.

During the trailer, we see Jason driving a car. Reddit user whosthesixth spotted a Vice City landmark in the far distance, taking to the site to say, “This shows how vast the map will be. Vice City is all the way out there.” Given that we’re all itching to feast our eyes on the size of the map, it’s a very good observation.

“Man, I can’t wait to drive around on this map with a motorcycle and the radio blasting,” user prophet_tehenhauin wrote, while shentchami added, “Yeah this is actually insane. Can’t wait for this game to drop. Just exploring for hours and hours before even entering the story mode. I am so hyped.”

Poudy24 commented, “Damn, it's crazy how good people are at spotting small details like this. I literally watched the trailer like 15 times, stopping frame by frame to analyse everything, and then I come here and I see a bunch of details I hadn't seen at all. Like, I even missed the TV tower at the beginning, somehow. Cool find! The map looks huge.”

The countdown to 2025 continues.
