'GTA Online' Player Told By Teammates He's "Too Old" To Play At 32

One Grand Theft Auto player had a disheartening experience while joining in on the Online side of the game, and so the community rallied round to ensure that this guy felt welcome in the most wholesome way
"So long story short I recently started to play online picked up GTA on a sale for Xbox," said Reddit user M4taylor on the Grand Theft Auto Online subreddit. "Been a life long fan for the GTA series and usually go on about my days solo [sic]." Sadly, when they tried to complete heists with other players using voice chat, the loutish whippersnappers told him he was "too old" to be gaming. Our man is 32 years old, for reference.

While Gen Z are said to be the most charitable generation ever and are willing to discuss and de-escalate in conflicts, there clearly are some exceptions. Thankfully, the community were able to put M4taylor's mind at ease and help him make the most of Grand Theft Auto Online. "Kids will laugh at eachother for having different colored hair. Ignore them, they're idiots," said one.
"Y'all be the best teammates. Won't act like an NPC [and] have a brain to work together [sic]," added another.
Obviously, Rockstar Games didn't ever state that there is an upper age limit for playing its games and this is one specific incident of grotty teenagers thinking they're kings of the world. It is heartwarming, however, to see lots of gamers share their life stories as well as their favourite games shows that everyone should be welcome in the hobby.
