Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition has gotten off to a… rocky start since launching last weekend.

The collection, which includes remasters of GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas, were pulled from sale on PC for most of the weekend. Rockstar has been flooded with complaints and refund requests as a result of this and other glitches affecting Xbox and PlayStation. Oh, and for a brief moment, GTA: The Trilogy ended up as the worst-rated game of 2021. Yikes.

Take a look at some of the funniest GTA: The Trilogy wins and fails below. Are they most glitches? I think you already know the answer to that question.

Over on the GTA subreddit, players have been compiling many of the biggest issues and glitches - but they’ve also been sharing some of the funnier discoveries. One such incredible oversight spotted in Vice City is that developer Grove Street Games appears to have gotten Rockstar’s iconic star-shaped logo wrong.

In Vice City, players can find a pool shaped like the company logo. You know the one: it’s the R that slopes into a star, with the bottom of the R joining up with one of the star’s five points. Unfortunately, somebody forgot to relay this information to Grove Street Games. While the pool itself is accurate, its appearance on the minimap is anything but. As you can see below, somebody at the studio may have miscounted the number of points on the star. Oops.

“How? And why?” writes Reddit user TOOMTheRaccoon. “I just have no words.”

It’s clear there are a lot of things going on with this remastered package that require Rockstar’s attention so it’s unlikely that something as trivial as this smaller error will be addressed anytime soon. Still, it’s good that we can see the funny side in the face of such disastrous remasters.
