‘Halo Infinite’ Is Crossing Over With ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’, For Some Reason

Halo's Pelican is officially coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator in a bizarre crossover.

We expected that Halo might make an appearance during Xbox and Bethesda’s showcase, but I certainly didn’t expect it to turn up as part of a Microsoft Flight Simulator crossover but hey, here we are.

Microsoft announced that their iconic flight sim franchise is set to turn 40 this year so to celebrate the occasion, they’re adding a brand new series of vehicles to the game including choppers, gliders, and another vehicle you may find a little bit more familiar … Halo Infinite’s UNSC Pelican.

Take a look at the Pelican in action below in the brand new Microsoft Flight Simulator free anniversary update trailer.

Halo’s UNSC Pelican is the first licensed fictional aircraft to make its way to this iconic franchise. In the trailer, we saw the vehicle flying to space and I’ve got to admit, I wasn’t totally interested in Microsoft Flight Simulator before, but I might just be now.

The Pelican is a familiar vehicle to Halo fans as it’s often used by Master Chief and co. The ship can carry both troops and vehicles, and now you can captain it yourself. The update is completely free if you already have Microsoft Flight Simulator and it’s available right now. So dive in.
