At long last, nearly a full year on from the game’s release, Halo Infinite’s Forge Mode will be releasing in beta on 8 November, giving players the power to create their own custom maps. The possibilities for this are quite literally endless, and one incredibly talented player has already been demonstrating the scope of what the mode can do with a stunning recreation of Andy’s room from the Toy Story series.

YouTube creator Red Nomster has shared an incredibly in-depth video showcasing the mind-blowing map. Using object scaling, the creator has done a brilliant job of making the player look like a tiny toy within the room. As well as the amazing attention to detail on the room’s various objects, many toys are also fully interactive - you can set off a domino line, for example, which eventually topples a house of cards. It genuinely looks like it’s going to be a really fun map to play on, and there’s no doubt that it’ll have given other players big ideas of what they want to create when the mode officially launches.
Unfortunately, it was recently confirmed that the planned split-screen co-op mode for Infinite has now been scrapped, which obviously, no one is pleased about. “In order to improve and accelerate ongoing live service development, and to better address player feedback and quality of life updates, we have reallocated studio resources and are no longer working on local campaign split-screen co-op,” 343 Industries announced.
