Who wants another peek at Hogwarts Legacy? Of course you do, that’s why you’re here.
The enormous Hogwarts Legacy State of Play stream back in March gave fans a super in-depth look at loads of what the game has to offer, from its open world, spell-casting, combat, and broomsticks, but obviously, people are eager to see more. Luckily then, thanks to an online tech event, a new cutscene from the game has been revealed, giving us a glimpse into the story and voice acting.

As reported by VGC, the Autodesk Vision Series, which kicked off yesterday, has been giving game devs a platform to demonstrate how they’re using Autodesk’s software in their games, and one presentation delved into how MotionBuilder and Autodesk Maya are being utilised to create Hogwarts Legacy’s cinematics.

The cutscene, which shows two students (including the playable character) spot some enemies trying to capture a hippogriff, was shared by @HogLegNews on Twitter - take a look below.
Also in the presentation, a fresh look at the game’s character creation screen was shown, as well as the tools that the devs are using to create the characters in game, such as the professors and other students.
Just to add to the hype, recently, it was revealed that we may have (unofficially) gotten some details about the different special editions of the game. A while back, one Reddit user uncovered a number of what appeared to be pre-order bonuses or DLC in the source code of the official website, and later, another user claimed to have gotten the website to display the information properly, revealing what it was all referring to.

Assuming it’s true, fans will be able to choose from the Standard, Deluxe or Collector’s editions of the game, with the Collector’s Edition including a “Steel Case” and “Floating Ancient Magic Wand with Book”, which we can only assume are physical items. The Collector’s and Digital Deluxe editions will also apparently give fans 72 hours early access to the game, which is undoubtedly going to be a selling point for many.
