Hogwarts Legacy PC players have worked out a way of unlocking a coveted feature that is ideal for trotting across the open world of Hogwarts and its grounds, though it is a little fiddly.
PC players have had a time of it with Hogwarts Legacy, suffering with stuttering and crashes until Avalanche Software was able to address the issues in a day one patch. Though I'm definitely one to prefer playing games on a console, PC players have a wealth of opportunities to tweak games to their liking. This might be pushing their rig to the limits to make the most of the magical game or modding the game with the best additions that the community can offer.
Of course, your mileage may vary on that front. There's one that transforms the player's broom into Thomas the Tank Engine, another that does away with the annoying Alohomora puzzles, and an unofficial multiplayer mode that lets a maximum of eight students wreak chaos cooperatively. You get my meaning.

Up until Tuesday, there was no way to snap screenshots without elements like the player and the objective marker showing up. The heads-up display can be switched on and off, however, players can't swap into first-person mode or move the camera away from the fixed point where their character is standing. Seeing that Hogwarts Legacy has been praised over and over for its environments, this sounds like a severe oversight.
After fans mourned the omission, Reddit user Fineus arrived on the scene with a fix and some gorgeous shots to prove that it is a viable alternative to a photo mode, though this will only work on PC. Using the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker, developer tools will be accessible to the player, letting them swivel the camera to their heart's contentment. Depth of field works as well as resampling so shutterbug players should definitely give this a go for a new phone lock screen or two.
