‘Hollow Knight Silksong’ Is Officially Coming To Game Pass Day One, Gets New Trailer

After years of waiting, it’s finally here. We’ve got another look at the highly-anticipated sequel to 2017’s critically acclaimed Hollow Knight. Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight Silksong is coming soon and best of all, it’s coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one. Ah, I am screaming.

Announced back in 2019, there’s been a worrying lack of updates on this title with the release date previously simply listed as ‘TBC.’ We still don’t have a release date as the trailer just notes “coming soon” but Xbox did tease that everything in the showcase would be released within the next 12 months.

Previously, we didn’t even know that Hollow Knight Silksong was coming to Xbox at all, with it previously being confirmed for PC and Nintendo Switch only. The fact that it’s coming to Game Pass day one is a huge win and it looks like the game will be available on both Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.

The game is set to focus on the lethal hunter Hornet as she travels to foreign lands, discovers new powers and battles against various hordes of enemies to uncover ancient secrets. We’ll certainly be keeping our eye out for more details.
