If you didn’t know, Star Wars Celebration is well and truly underway. The annual fan gathering celebrates all things Star Wars and, by extension, Lucasfilm. Full of exciting announcements, the event is a major feature of the pop culture calendar and just one day in, we’ve already been treated to so many incredible reveals.

The first trailer for Star Wars: Andor was dropped, with the series scheduled to start with a two-episode premiere on 31 August. Set five years prior to Rogue One, Star Wars: Andor follows the titular character through a rebel uprising. The Mandalorian’s third season also received a release window. Everyone’s favourite father and son duo will be back in action in February 2023. And as if that wasn’t enough, Lucasfilm also gave us our first look at Indiana Jones 5.

Take a look at the brand new trailer for Star Wars: Andor below!

It’s been a perilous path to get Indiana Jones 5 to where it is today. Indy’s last outing, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, released back in 2008, so it’s been a good while since this professor of archeology graced our screens. Work began on Indiana Jones 5 back in 2012 but since then, the film has undergone various script rewrites plus a change in director before then getting hit by the onset of the pandemic.

Well yesterday, Lucasfilm confirmed, on the first day of Star Wars Celebration, that Indiana Jones 5 will finally be released on 30 June 2023. Accompanying the announcement, an image was unveiled giving us our first look at Harrison Ford back in action. Take a look below.

The still certainly doesn’t give anything away when it comes to the plot, but if you’re a fan of the franchise like me it’s so exciting to see Harrison Ford don the famous fedora once more. Ford will be joined by a whole host of new cast members including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Toby Jones, and Antonio Banderas. I have a feeling that we’re in for a treat.
