In case you’d forgotten, in amongst the absolutely ginormous Marvel Cinematic Universe line-up is Ironheart - an upcoming Disney+ TV series centred around the titular hero, Riri Williams. Riri (played by Dominique Thorne) is a genius 15-year-old inventor, who creates a suit similar to Iron Man’s.

Soon to hit Disney+ is She-Hulk: Attorney at Law - take a look at the trailer below.

Although the hero is set to have her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever later this year, GameSpot reports that a number of leaked photos from the production of Ironheart have leaked online, which include first looks at Thorne in (part of) Ironheart’s suit, and what appears to be Anthony Ramos as the Hood.

These photos were shared by @ironhnews on Twitter, and at the time of writing, are still live - there’s always a chance that they might get taken down given that they’re leaks. Ironheart’s suit looks pretty dang bulky - there’s no doubt that she’s going to be a formidable force in the show.

It was previously reported that Ironheart may introduce the MCU’s first transgender character - one casting call for the show was reportedly looking for a “Black, Latina or Afro-Latina transgender woman who is around 18-22 years old” to play a currently unnamed character, who’ll apparently be “unapologetically nerdy” and have a “mystical bent and unique sense of humour”.

At the San Diego Comic Con, it was revealed that Ironheart is currently set to premiere in autumn 2023, as part of phase five of the MCU. However, the Black Panther sequel, Wakanda Forever, will be hitting cinemas on 11 November this year, where Riri Williams will make her first MCU appearance.
