We cannot get enough of this new Lego set that shows off one of the most iconic scenes in the Jurassic Park series - the terrifying T-rex showdown between the ginormous living fossil and Grant, Malcolm, Lex and Tim.
This is perfect timing for the set to release as the first trailer for Jurassic World Dominion dropped only a couple of days ago, flaunting the return of original Jurassic Park actors Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern to the new world order of Dominion. Isla Nublar was lost four years ago following the release of the dinosaurs and the new neo-Jurassic period has led to the violent commingling of the creatures and humans as both species vie for supremacy through desperate survival. "Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures," reads the synopsis for the upcoming movie.

I imagine that Dominion will have its fair share of sarcastic snarky remarks from Dr Alan Grant, Dr Ellie Sattler and Dr Ian Malcolm who had gone toe to toe with dinosaurs two decades before the events of Jurassic World. They'd be well within their rights to do so, of course. The most iconic scene of the original 1993 adaptation has now been transformed into a Lego set, and expectedly, it's been selling like hot dinosaur embryos to misinformed fat cats. With 1,212 pieces, the model measures 15 centimetres high, 58 centimetres wide and 22 centimetres deep and would be quite the showstopper on your shelf. Take a look:
And, it comes with buildable night-vision goggles, a flashlight, CD-ROM touch-screen monitor, goat chain and T. rex footprints as well as accessory elements including two water glasses and a flare. The T. rex is posable too, yet I doubt that you'll be able to arrange the creature into a jazz hands position. The one thing the dinos missed out on with their superior evolutionary path.
