Keanu Reeves was made to film a sex scene with the director’s wife. What, say what now?

Yes, you’ve read the right. We all know that Keanu Reeves is absolutely breathtaking, but I’m not so sure we’d go as far as wanting to record a scene of hanky panky. Perhaps that floats your boat, but anyway, we’re drifting away here.

As reported by our friends at UNILAD, during the time of this awkward cinematic interaction, Keanu Reeves had been filming 2015’s Knock Knock, with actor, producer, and friend Eli Roth who was directing the movie at the time.

The arousing scene in question involved Roth’s then-wife, Lorenza Izzo before the couple were divorced in 2019. We have no doubts that Reeves and Izzo are model professionals in the entertainment industry, but that scene must have been understandably weird, knowing that the estranged husband would be the one behind the camera giving orders, right?

Reeves was explaining the Knock Knock experience on Jimmy Kimmel Live. As it turns out, Mr Reeves is a model professional and got on with the scene as cool as a cucumber. When asked by the host if he felt uncomfortable, Reeves replied: “Not for me, Jimmy.”

Clearly not shrivelling under pressure, while Reeves admitted the adult scenes were a tad ‘weird’, he explained that Roth worked hard to ease everyone into the role. “Eli created a great situation of trust and rehearsals, but eventually you have to get naked and simulate and do….” said Reeves.

Then the actor jokingly said in a funny voice: “I wasn’t that guy who was like, ‘Hey Eli your wife is hot’…you know like every day like, 'I can’t wait for this sex scene Lorenza looks amazing today’.”

Keanu Reeves' latest movie is the critically acclaimed John Wick: Chapter 4, which is being dubbed as ‘one of the greatest action movies’ ever made. And as far as we know, it involves no awkward sex scenes, probably. However, it does include a combined kill count that puts Michael Myers to shame.
