Keanu Reeves Has Met With Marvel About MCU Role

Keanu Reeves Has Met With Marvel About MCU Role

Whoah

Canada's sweetheart Keanu Reeves has reportedly met with Marvel boss Kevin Feige about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an as-yet undisclosed role.

Fans have been keen to see the Matrix star join the MCU for years now. Just recently, there was a spirited campaign to get Reeves in the MCU as Ghost Rider, which is a pretty damn good shout,

Speaking with Comicbook.com, Reeves confirmed that meetings have taken place with Marvel, but that no role has been given out just yet. Of course, given the huge popularity of both Reeves and the MCU, it's only a matter of time before the two join forces.

“We have met, and [Kevin Feige’s] a cool cat,” Reeves said. “Yeah. But no, we don’t have anything, got to find something.”

The notion that Reeves and Marvel have been talking but haven't yet landed on a role is a good sign, if you ask me. It means that both parties are really thinking about what would be right for the actor, rather than just cramming him in anywhere. Ghost Rider is, of course, a fantastic shout. But I'd also be interested to see him as Spider-Man villain Kraven The Hunter, or maybe even Wolverine.
