Latest 'Jurassic World Dominion' Trailer Shows Off Terrifying New Dinosaur

The next and final film in the Jurassic World trilogy drops into cinemas on 10 June and the latest trailer has got us drooling.

Wrapping up the trilogy we will see several characters from the original film making a comeback. While Jeff Goldblum already returned for the second movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the threequel sees both Sam Neill and Laura Dern also appear as their 1993 Jurassic Park characters. However, it’s not just the returning actors which got us excited, the new trailer gave us the chance to take a look up-close at some new big scary dinos.

The new trailer shows off a Giganotosaurus, a new species of dinosaur for the film franchise that as the name suggests is - or was - rather large. From remains, scientists have estimated that it would have been around 12-13 metres in length with the skull alone being the size of an average human. 

The plot of the new film focuses on protagonist Owen Grady, played by Chris Pratt, as he tries to return a baby raptor to its mother. At the end of Fallen Kingdom, the dinosaurs make it off their island and onto the mainland. We see the dinosaurs approaching cities with the main population unaware that the reptiles are coming.

In Dominion the dinosaurs are very much among us. We see them stalking through cities, running down roads, scaling buildings, and even plucking a man right off an electric scooter. So while the dinosaurs have very much let themselves into society, we can’t say that society is all that pleased about it.

I don’t know about you guys but it looks like it's about time we accepted our dino overlords and returned to nature, am I right?
