LEGO Red Dead Redemption is everything we've ever wanted

LEGO Red Dead Redemption is everything we've ever wanted

Red Dead Redemption 2 has landed in brick format

Grand Theft Auto VI is easily the industry’s most anticipated game right now, and I can’t see anything knocking it off the top spot ahead of its release.

That release date remains unknown, but Rockstar has confirmed that GTA VI is set to land in 2025.

That means it’s going to be a while until we find out if the Red Dead franchise has a future.

Of course, we’d all love to play Red Dead Redemption 3 and whilst it would presumably be a financial sure-fire success for Rockstar, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll ever come to fruition.

Perhaps the studio will feel drawn to creating a new IP. That would be equally exciting.

What I’m saying is that nothing is guaranteed at this point in time when it comes to Red Dead’s future but luckily for us, the franchise boasts an incredibly active fandom.

One such fan has embarked on a very respectable project, creating a LEGO adaption of the game itself.

Take a look at some of our favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below.

This project is the work of YouTuber LegoCrow who’s been slowly making Red Dead Redemption 2 in the style of LEGO for the past four months.

The content creator has begun tackling the game’s most entertaining scenes one by one, including the game’s introduction and the Lenny drinking scene.

In the latest instalment, LegoCrow has recreated the housebuilding segment featuring John, Charles and Uncle - and the end result is incredibly professional. Take a look for yourself below.

It’s no surprise that LegoCrow’s videos have already amassed millions of views.

“And for two minutes and 14 seconds, the world was okay,” wrote one viewer.

“This guy definitely knows how to handle LEGO humour and RDR2’s dynamic,” another wrote.

All I can say is that I cannot wait to see what LegoCrow creates next.
