Watch New ‘LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’ Behind-The-Scenes Action

A brand new video has given us a bigger look at the upcoming game

Hey, do you wanna see some more LEGO Star Wars? Of course you do, that’s why you’re here. The Skywalker Saga has been quite a long time coming - it was first announced back at E3 2019 (simpler times) during Microsoft’s press conference. Since then, we haven’t really heard a great deal about it at all, at least until last month when we got a release date (5 April this year, by the way) alongside a new trailer.

Clearly, the devs must be trying to make up for lost time when it comes to news about the game, because now we’ve also got a brand new behind-the-scenes video.

As reported by Gfinity, Warner Bros. said: “The behind-the-scenes video documents the collaboration between the partners to deliver something special for fans, along with developer insight into some of the Easter eggs players will find in the game, such as Pew Pew Mode, which humorously replaces all weapon sound effects with phonetic mouth noises that simulate blasters, lightsabers and more!”

Check it out below…

As you’d imagine, this has only helped stir up the internet’s hype even more, as fans have been sharing their thoughts in the YouTube comments. “Now I'm just interested in how well the character customisation works, and then I'm set to give this a 10/10 immediately,” commented NRDzilla. “This looks amazing[,] I'm so excited for this game[,] love Lego Star Wars,” wrote Peter Parker. Probably not that one.

We really don’t have too long to wait now until the game's actually out - we've less than two months to go. That’s one bonus of not hearing much about something until right before it releases, I suppose. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be releasing on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, so I think it’s safe to say basically everyone’s covered there - get your calendars marked.
