One thing I love about the bandits in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? They never know when to quit.
I mean, I totally get why they’d take a swing at players during the first through hours of the game. You’re fresh from Helgen, running around in stolen Imperial armour looking lost. You probably don’t have much of value on you, but you’re definitely an easy mark.
Except becoming more powerful never actually seems to dissuade them from having a pop. You could be walking down the road wearing the bones of an actual dragon, or wielding a sword forged with the heart of a Daedra, and they still insist on having a pop. God love ‘em.
Take a look at some of the best Skyrim wins and fails below!
Over on the Skyrim subreddit, a user by the name MajorOfCrime recently showed off the extreme lengths bandits will go to for a bit of coin, as a lone thief attempted to mug the player while they were in werewolf form.
If you’ve not played Skyrim in a while, allow me to remind you that werewolves are massive creatures, and totally vicious. If you saw one coming down the lane, the last thing on your mind would be whether or not to rob them. You’d run for your life. Not this guy, though. This guy decided to try and ambush and rob the furry monster. Fortune does favour the bold, after all. Well, sometimes.
As you can see below, it did not end well.
RIP random Skyrim bandit #61027. You will be missed.
