‘Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ Gets Release Date And Cinematic Trailer

‘Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ Gets Release Date And Cinematic Trailer

Firaxis Games have finally announced the reveal date for XCOM Marvel's Midnight Suns in a brand new cinematic trailer.

Finally, the wait is over. Marvel’s Midnight Suns officially has a release date and we don’t have long to wait to get our hands on this hugely exciting XCOM-like comic-book title.

Available to pre-order now, Marvel’s Midnight Suns sees a number of unlikely Marvel heroes team up to take down Lilith, her demonic offspring, and Hydra. This brand new tactical RPG is set to explore the darker side of the Marvel universe, and I think we’d all be down for a bit of that. Players will take on the role of The Hunter as they recruit allies like Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Blade to their team.

Unveiled at Summer Game Fest, check out the brand new cinematic trailer for Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

Hulk, what have they done to you? How very, very devilish. Firaxis Games’ Marvel’s Midnight Suns officially launches on 7 October, 2022. Firaxis Games are the minds behind the long-running Civilization and XCOM franchises. The best news for fans is sure to be that Marvel’s Midnight Suns is receiving a wide release. The game will be available to purchase on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows PC via Steam, and from the Epic Games Store. Nintendo fans, rest assured. Marvel’s Midnight Suns will also be coming to Nintendo Switch but this will be at a later date which for now, remains unconfirmed.

“We're thrilled to invite players into the darker, supernatural side of Marvel," said Bill Rosemann, vice president and creative director at Marvel Games. “In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, our friends at Firaxis and 2K have created an incredibly unique and totally authentic Marvel experience that fans can leap into this October."

Speaking of the “darker side” of Marvel, you’ll be facing off against a line-up of recognisable faces in addition to recruiting them to your own team as Lilith has managed to corrupt Venom, Sabretooth, Scarlet Witch, and the Hulk. Marvel's Midnight Suns will be available in four editions: Standard Edition, Enhanced Edition, Digital+ Edition, and Legendary Edition. And yes, that was Yuri Lowenthal as Spider-Man. Nice, huh?
