‘Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered’ Is Getting Free DLC

We’re already pretty hyped about the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, as I expect many of you are too. The Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is only about a week away from release and to celebrate its launch, Insomniac is getting in on the hype. The developer made both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Miles Morales, and in appreciation of the new movie, it's adding some DLC to Spider-Man Remastered

Insomniac revealed on Twitter that it’s releasing not one but two new suits for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered inspired by the release of No Way Home. The suits will come to the game on December 10th, and it seems it’ll be then that we get our first good look at them, we can’t wait. However, you’ll have to fulfil a set of conditions to get your hands on this loot.

Here is the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home

The tweet announcing the DLC says: “Two new suits inspired by Spider-Man: No Way Home - exclusively in movie theaters Dec. 17th - are coming Dec. 10th to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, only available on PlayStation 5 as part of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition!”

Yes, you’ll have to own the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales to access this content. That means it’s definitely for PlayStation 5 users only which is a little bit of a shame. If you already own Mile Morales and want to get these suits, you can still upgrade the base edition if you like.

Insomniac says: “These are suits for Peter, not Miles. You need the Ultimate Edition to play Spider-Man Remastered. You can purchase and upgrade from the miles main menu though.” Oh no, another excuse to replay Spider-Man yet again? Whatever shall I do? *Sigh* Well better get ready for its release on December 10, so I can swing around New York City once again.
