Moon Knight will return, Oscar Isaac confirms

Moon Knight will return, Oscar Isaac confirms

Speaking at New York Comic Con, Oscar Isaac reassured fans that we'll be seeing his character again in the future.

It’s been over five months since the finale of Moon Knight on Disney+, and the series still lives rent free in my mind. For those unfamiliar, the series follows Steven Grant, a man with dissociate identity disorder who shares a body with Marc Spector, a powerful mercenary.

Frustratingly, a second season of the show still hasn’t been officially confirmed, although both Oscar Isaac and screenwriter Mohammed Diab have teased it. Now though, as reported by Gizmodo, Isaac has confirmed that we’ll be seeing more of his character in the future.

Coming to Disney+ soon is Secret Invasion - check out the trailer below.

Isaac spoke about his experience with the show at New York Comic Con, and told the audience how he’d been in discussions with Kevin Feige for a while before the perfect role was found for him: “I saw this opportunity to talk about something that’s often difficult to talk about, but using the language of comics, myth, and the literal underworld to talk about the underworld of the human psyche,” he said.

He also spoke how he practiced switching roles and perfecting the mannerisms of both Steven and Marc with the help of his brother, Mike Hernandez: “We would take turns playing different parts, and I would remember what he did and I’d do my version,” he said. “I had my lines fed into my ear, I was acting at nothing. It was a bit of a puzzle to figure out.”

Anyway, very excitingly, Isaac confirmed that the end of Moon Knight doesn’t mean the end of his character, but he didn’t say whether his future appearances would be in a second season. So, we can certainly expect to see Marc and Steven again, but it could be elsewhere in the MCU. Either way, there’s no doubt that people are going to be hyped for it.
