Stunning New Open-World RPG Shows Off Massive Fantasy Sandbox

Stunning New Open-World RPG Shows Off Massive Fantasy Sandbox

Mortal Online 2 looks like the MMO of our dreams.

We love a fantasy RPG, don’t we? Although the biggest games on the market are often about guns, grenades, and war glory, it seems many of us also have a yearning to wield swords, master magic, and explore worlds that are completely removed from our reality. You can get an AK-47 in real life after all, but a flaming spear gifted to you by a god? That’s new. And the gameplay trailer for Mortal Online 2 shows us yet another very promising project giving us just that sort of experience.

As reported by Dark Side of Gaming, Mortal Online 2 already looks incredible. A new gameplay trailer shows just how stunning this open-world looks and we’re already intrigued by its contents. Here is the description from the website: “Mortal Online 2 is a next generation, first-person, sandbox MMORPG set in a fantasy world. In Mortal Online 2, players are never truly free from danger. There are no specific PvP or safe zones, only an open, realistic world where you are free to choose your own path. Experience true, real-time combat where outcomes are decided by skill rather than levels or gear.”

Here is the gameplay trailer for Mortal Online 2...

Developer Star Vault AB describe the upcoming game has hardcore elements which means that experienced players of the first Mortal Online will fit right in and other MMO players will too, hopefully. So how about the rest of the people who might want to try it out? Well there is also a dedicated beginner island called Haven which informs you of the basics. You’ll be able to hang out here as long as you like before embarking on the real adventure.

Mortal Online 2 will have deep crafting systems, trading systems, various weapons, armours, potions, and more. You’ll also have to earn the trust of individuals you’ll meet for realism’s sake. It all sounds pretty intense and yet glorious. The perfect game for those that really want to dive head first into the games they play.

Upon release, the game will cost $39 and then after a month, you’ll have to subscribe to the service. You can preorder the game right now but if you want to have a look yourself, Mortal Online 2’s beta is live right now before its estimated January 2022 release.
