MrBeast declined an invitation to go on the OceanGate Titanic submersible last month

MrBeast confirms he reportedly declined an invitation just last month to go on the OceanGate Titanic submersible.

Following the recent OceanGate Titanic submersible tragedy, popular YouTuber MrBeast reveals he was nearly a passenger on the voyage.

The OceanGate Titanic submersible takes its paid passengers on a luxury expedition beneath the sea to get a close-up look at the infamous RMS Titanic that collided with an iceberg in 1912 and sank to the bottom of the North Atlantic ocean taking the lives of an estimated 1,500+ of the 2,224 passengers.

Sadly, the recent OceanGate Titanic submersible expedition ended in tragedy after it reportedly ‘imploded’ and suffered a ‘catastrophic failure’, sinking 12,500ft below the surface and killing its five passengers onboard including co-founder of OceanGate Stockton Rush, as well as British billionaire Hamish Harding, British-Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, and finally, French marine expert, Paul-Henri Nargeolet.

This experience costs a whopping $250,000 per person, according to the OceanGate website, so it's an experience for those with extremely deep pockets, way beyond the average income.

As reported by Dexerto, YouTuber MrBeast (real name Jimmy Donaldson) was reportedly offered a place on the Titanic submersible, just weeks before the recent tragedy. MrBeast shared a tweet revealing a screenshot from a message inviting him to the Titanic submersible expedition. “I was invited earlier this month to ride the Titanic submarine, I said no,” he tweeted. “Kind of scary that I could have been on it.” If MrBeast was offered a place on that submersible, it’s a good job fate intervened.

In related news, GTA V modders have distastefully already added the OceanGate Titanic submersible into the game. What’s more, a recent MrBeast stunt has easily smashed his Squid Game YouTube views record in just 24 hours.
