Netflix has now released the terrifying trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, an upcoming horror anthology that will hit the small screen just ahead of Halloween.
The project has an absolutely star-studded cast across its eight episodes, which all are self-contained stories within the Cabinet of Curiosities. The Murmuring features Essie Davis, Andrew Lincoln and Hannah Galway; The Autopsy stars Luke Roberts, F. Murray Abraham, and Glynn Turman; Lot 36 has Tim Blake Nelson, Sebastian Roché, Demetrius Grosse, and Elpidia Carrillo.
With no more ado, here is the trailer:
Pickman's Model stars Crispin Glover and Ben Barnes; The Viewing features Peter Weller and Sofia Boutella; Dreams In The Witch House has Rupert Grint. The last two episodes are Graveyard Rats with David Hewlett, and The Outside with Diana Bentley and Chloe Madison. Oh, and there are the monsters themselves to watch out for.

"Cabinet of Curiosities is a show that I've always wanted to make," narrated del Toro over the behind-the-scenes snapshots of the show, explaining that the majority of the episodes are the work of the talented filmmakers that were brought on board the project. These include Jennifer Kent, whose directorial debut was The Babadook, Ana Lily Amirpour who wrote and directed A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, and Catherine Hardwicke, the director of Twilight. "Some are savoury, some are sweet," continued del Toro. "You get a surprise from each of the bites."
Something tells me he's very into this eccentric collector persona he's created for the show. del Toro will introduce every episode, and while the trailer hasn't given much of the game away, you can count on us lot at GAMINGbible to be tuning in as soon as the clock strikes midnight on 25 October.
