'The Witcher' Season Three Production To Kick Off This Month

The cast and crew of The Witcher are moving like a basilisk out of hell to give us the next chapter of Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri's story as pre-production in the third season is set to begin this month. The third season of the show was confirmed in late September of last year with a celebratory Tweet from showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. Pre-production consists of a lot of planning from financing to assigning directors to drawing out the props and visual effects required for every single scene and so on. As a result, Redanian Intelligence asserts that filming will occur in March as the team is opting for Longcross Studios over Arborfield Studios and will require some time allocated for the construction of new sets. The third season will draw from Time of Contempt which is the second entry in the series of books.
